Writing from my classroom...

I'm so glad to have a classroom in the main building - I have wireless internet in my classroom. It's amazing. Must stop self from using msn during lessons. Hehehe. Maybe I'll get the students google-earthing. That would be very cool.
I'm unbelievably knackered. I haven't really stopped since I arrived. I keep having to wake up at 7am to prepare lessons and classrooms, and since I have no alarm clock, I wake up with the fear every 20 minutes between 4am and 7.20am, when I force myself out of bed. And I need to start exercising again. And I need to go to the supermarket, and buy a phone, and organise contact lenses. I still haven't given in to the little white sticks...It has been really hard (I couldn't believe how hard) but it is getting easier.
I supervised a water fight yesterday. It was a school organised activity. Very very funny. Lobbing water bombs at students is highly satisfying, and I think they feel the same about tipping buckets over teachers. I'm teaching Art to them tomorrow, and me and Gaia are going to plan a Jazz night, and a fashion show (well, hopefully), so all potters along in a big mass of stress and tiredness, hanging around, teaching, drinking, and desire for sleep. And enthusiastic lesson planning.
Also, is anyone in London, or avaliable to be? I'm on a trip there on Sunday, and would love to see anyone who's around. We going to Regent's Park, Primrose Hill and Camden. (and Madame Tussauds I think - I hope I don't have to go in! Other teachers are off, free of course, to Alton Towers this weekend, and there's a surf weekend in Newquay) Anyone fancy finding King John from Maid Marian, in Camden Market on Sunday? Place your bets now about how many students I lose.
Lots of love xxx
